Cowes Harbour Commission have signed contracts with Bokalis Westminster who will commence construction of the new Cowes breakwater on 7th May.  A breakwater Exclusion Zone will come into force on 6th May 2014.

All vessels not involved in the construction works are required to remain outside of the Exclusion Zone at all times. The Exclusion Zone is the subject of a Local Notice to Mariners (no. 7 of 2014). 

All competitors in Cowes Classics Week must be aware of the Exclusion Zone and are asked to return to the website regularly for further updates on the size and shape of the Exclusion Zone. Cowes Harbour Commission will be represented at the Skippers Briefing at 1800 on Monday 21st July to explain the Exclusion Zone.  The LNTM No. 8 can be downloaded from here ››
