An early booking discount will be available on many social events booked before midnight Friday 14 June 2024, so it makes sense to arrange your aprés racing well in advance, especially as most events have a strict maximum capacity and are regularly sold-out.

As an alternative to the Italian Buffet at ISC there is a 'Taste of the Sea', a three course fish supper served on the wonderful RLYC balcony. Menu choices are Beetroot Cured Chalk Stream Hampshire Roast Trout, Pickled Vegetable and Apple Remoulade, Pan Roasted Sea Bass, Sauteed Smoky Bacon, Red Chicory, Heritage Tomato and Broad Bean Salad, Fennel Puree and Red Wine Sauce, followed by Lemon Tart.
Stay on at the Royal Ocean Racing Club on Tuesday after the Isle of Wight Distillery prize-giving and drinks reception, for a chefs favourites curry night. Sumatran Beef Curry, Thai Vegetable Curry, Poppadoms, Basmati Rice, Organic Mixed Leafy Salad with Summer Herbs & Lemon Olive Oil Dressing or Raspberry Vinaigrette, folllowed by Gulababajam in rose syrup.
As an alternative to the Curry Night at RORC there is this 'Paella Night' at RLYC served on the wonderful balcony. Choose from Classic or Vegetarian Paella followed by Crème Catalan and Polvorone Biscuit.
The drinks reception at Kendalls Fine Art Gallery has become so popular that we have had to set a maximum guest list of 100 people. The reception remains enitrely free to wristband holding competitors but you will need to make reservations in advance to be included on the guest list.
Greek Night at Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club with entertainment from ‘George Michael’ is a new event with doors opening at 7.00pm for 8.00pm and entertainment from 8:30pm onwards. Delicious Lamb or Chicken Gyros served on flatbreads with citrus slaw and a Halloumi vegetarian option, both accompanied by Tzatziki, Skordalia, Greek salad, and a Burnt aubergine pickle with Greek yogurt, rounded off with Baklava before 'George Michael does his thing.

To start choose from Treacle Glazed Salmon, Celariac Remoulade, Pickled Cucumber Ribbons OR Marinated Tomatoes, Ricotta, Aged Balsamic and Ciabatta Shards. A farewell supper for competitors in the Cowes Classics Week to Dartmouth feeder race served at the Royal London Yacht Club. Dining will be on the balcony and and dining room with seating allocated on a first come first served basis. Opens with a Welcome French 75 Cocktail comprising Mermaid Gin and MDCV sparkling wine, followed by Paté, Coq au Vin and then a French Cheeseboard.
